Elevate Your Expat Care with Our In-Person Debriefing Workshops

In today's globalized business landscape, your expat employees are at the heart of your international success. They navigate cultural differences, adapt to new environments, and drive your business forward with their unique insights. However, their journey doesn't end when they return home. Workshop Options

Don't let the reentry phase undermine the success of your expatriate assignments. Invest in our in-person debriefing workshops to support your expat employees, boost their morale, and enhance their contributions to your business.

We know your company’s time is valuable. And your employees are valuable. While we offer one-, two-, and three-day options, we truly believe that the three-day option is the best for your employees and, in turn, for you. The extended timeframe allows more time and space for them to process and integrate what they have experienced and learned. That’s also why we have made this option the best value moneywise.

When we collaborate to bring these debriefing workshops to your employees, Expat Resilience provides experienced trainers and training materials; you provide the venue, the food, and possibly some training supplies (flipcharts, etc.). For in-person workshops, we recommend a group size of six to eighteen participants. Please feel free to discuss with us other group sizes. Larger groups will require an additional trainer. Contact us today to learn more about our workshops and to schedule a workshop tailored to your organization's needs.

The Right Way to Manage Expats

excerpts from The Harvard Business Review article by by J. Stewart Black and Hal Gregersen

“The companies that manage their expats effectively…end expatriate assignments with a deliberate repatriation process.

“Repatriation is a time of major upheaval, professionally and personally, for two-thirds of expats.

“Although participants find repatriation programs useful, it is seldom cost effective for a company to provide them in-house unless its volume of international assignments is heavy. Most companies that offer such programs outsource them to professional training companies or form consortiums with other companies to share the costs.

“Effective companies have realized that the money they spend on [outsourced repatriation] programs is a small price to pay for retaining people with global insight and experience.”
